WHEN / HOW ARE THE FRIDGE AND FREEZER TRAILERS DELIVERED?

If Southern Fridge Trailers are delivering your refrigerated trailer, we will be in contact roughly 48hrs prior to delivery to confirm timings. Someone must be present on site when trailers are delivered.

DO I HAVE TO BE PRESENT WHEN THE TRAILER IS COLLECTED?

No, we are happy to collect the trailers with no one on site, however it is important to arrange where keys will be left if no one is there.

WHAT POWER IS NEEDED FOR THE FRIDGE AND FREEZER TRAILERS?

The fridge / freezer trailer comes with a mains extension lead and can be used as either 16 AMP plug and also a 13 AMP adapter (normal household plug). The fan unit draws approx. 2.2 KW, if using a generator, we recommend at least 3.5 KWA or higher.

DO THE TRAILERS COME WITH SHELVING?

Yes, all fridge and freezer trailers will have shelving units provided.

DOES THE TRAILER NEED TO BE CLEANED OUT?

Trailers are fully cleaned inside and out prior to delivery; we expect trailers to be in a relatively clean state upon collection with no contents left inside. If extensive cleaning is required customers will be charged.

CAN I EXTEND MY TRAILER HIRE?

If you would like to extend the hire of a refrigerated trailer it is important you contact Southern Fridge Trailers immediately to confirm availability of the trailer. Additional hire costs will need paying for straight away.

CAN THE REAR TRAILER DOOR BE LEFT OPEN?

No, it is important that when you are not getting goods out of the fridge and freezer trailer the door is kept shut.

ARE THERE LIGHTS INSIDE THE FRIDGE / FREEZER TRAILER?

Yes, all our fridge and freezer trailers have an internal light for night-time use.

DO YOU CHARGE VAT?

No, we don't add VAT to our trailer hire prices.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR THE REFRIGERATED TRAILER HIRE?

Credit cards and BACS payments can be used to pay for hire charges (please note that no VAT is added to our trailer hire prices).
